Quartering Act (1774) - Part of the Coercive Acts, it stated that people in all the colonies were required to feed and house British soldiers. Quebec Act (1774) - Part of the Coercive Acts, it extended the boundaries of Quebec, the Canadian province, further south to the Ohio River. Although Parliament may not have intended to use this act to punish the colonies, many colonists considered it a form of punishment, since it gave to Canada land that was claimed by several of the thirteen colonies.
