11 | The President and Vice President on Separate planes traveled to Huntsville Alabama to inspect the Redstone testing grounds of NASA. From there they traveled to Cape Canaveral. At Cape Canaveral they inspected Launch Complex 14 where the Mercury program was being launched from. They entered Complex #37 where the Saturn program was beginning. The President then toured the NASA facilities in Houston and inspected a mock-up of the Apollo spacecraft. After the play Jackie was dropped off at the White House and the President and his mother went to after theater super dance at the British Embassy.
