This was the Presidents Day at the United Nations.. He began it with a meeting with the new Japanese Prime Minister Hatoyama.

The President then attended a special meeting with the leaders of countries that contribute peace-keeping troops.

The President then participated in a wreath laying ceremony.

Next the President attended a lunch hosted by UN Secretary Ban-Kimoon for all of the Heads of State

President Obama then had a one on one meeting with Russain President Medvedev.

In the evening the President and First Lady hosted a special reception at the Metropolitan Musuem.
