The President began his day with his Presidential Daily meeting.

The President spent the day with meetings with the House Senate leadership trying to work out a compromise between the House and Senate.

The President left eh meeting to give remarks on clean energy jobs. In addition the President stayed in touch with foreign leaders throughout the day on the situation in Haiti.
